Dear Sir,
I have my residence in the jurisdiction of Police Station of Sayajigunj. I had to approach Sayajigunj police station for the passport application process. Its really astounding to see behavior of the police staff at Sayajigunj Police station. Never we had expected to get such a superb response from the staff as well as the incharge there. Hats off to You Sir and your staff. I have also come to know that Police have taken excellent measures for the safety of women. also heard your interview in one of the Radio FM Channels. Its great to believe that we do have police who cares for the people. I am myself in Government service and I know apart from some awards, we do not get anything extra for our service. But I really request you, by my heart, to recommend some award for the staff at Sayajigunj police station.
I wanted to give, as normally understood by everyone, something to the staff. But Sir believe me, I didnt have the courage to even ask the staff because their nature and response was such that I felt smaller to ask them.
Thank you sir ... You and your staff have certainly made Baroda a better place.... I would really publicize this by social media in my circle.

I Mahendra Revabhai Patel residing at 1-Milan park Society, Nizampura,Vadodara intend to express appreciation regarding supportive handling of incident by Shri Shrikantbhai Joshi of Fatehgunj police station on night of 18 February 2014
Shri Gordhanbhai Nanjibhai Patel, aged 67 residing in Ambicanagar Society Nizampura,Vadodara committed suicide on 18 february 2014 possibly during late afternoon in his house He was staying wife his wife kusumben and their only one son, Nilesh is settled in U.K Shri Gordhanbhai was suffering from health problem since last four years after he met with an accident near Borsad.His wife had served him with complete dedication however, recovery to Gordhanbhai was slow.Kusumben went to kot Ganesh on 18 February 2014 after taking consent from Gordhanbhai and left house at 6:30 in the morning by bus to return by 09:00 hours in the evening, After knowing that Gordhanbhai had committed suicide hanging at the ceilling fan Fatehgunj Police station was informed and Shri Joshi Sir reached the house and investigated the entire matter There was suicide note written by Gordhanbhai that he decided to end his life due to continued health Problem
Contrary to general belief amongst public, we really felt comfort with supportive and fact-finding approach of Shri Joshi and during entire investigation,he was highly supportive during this deeply grievous period and Nilesh from U.K was worried regarding police investigation Shri Joshi telephonically aympathized with himand everyone present was feeling sense of gratitudeness to shri Joshi and team for providing emotional support during this serious incident Shri Joshi was on fast and did not take anything even after dead body was sent for postmortem at 01:00 am This entire incident made eveybody feel that police is friends to public and felt sense of obligation for police department.
